Description
A King Cake is a sweet treat that’s equally delicious as it is festive. King Cake is first served on Kings Day(January 6th) and lasts through the evening of Mardi Gras. It is a cake used to honor the three kings and celebrate their coming. Each color represents a unique trait, purple for justice, green for faith, and gold for power. Mardi Gras, also know as Fat Tuesday, is celebrated on February 21st this year. It is the last day to enjoy certain foods before the beginning of Lent.
King cakes are made of a sweet dough with a cinnamon sugar filling and a vanilla glaze.
$25 per cake, serves 8-10
